Counseling
Jenny welcomes a variety of therapeutic issues and will work with clients starting at whatever place & pace feels safe to them. One of the key aspects to her work is that she teaches her clients practical steps on how to apply what is gained in therapy to day-to-day living. Her work is focused on the now while learning from the past and preparing for the future.
Her work combines the teachings of those in the traditional therapeutic field that she studied under at Trevecca Nazarene University but also from the teachings in energy psychology from The School of Healing Arts. She combines these two dynamics to create a place of open possibilities for the client.
Integrative Therapy
For many clients, Jenny provides extended sessions that include 50 minutes of traditional talk therapy followed by 30 minutes of Craniosacral Therapy and Energy Healing. This combination of talk and touch therapy provides an opportunity for clients to heal on multiple levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The Craniosacral Therapy and Energy Healing consists of the client lying fully clothed on a massage table while I place my hands on certain areas of the body that invites it to unwind and release physical, emotional and spiritual blockages.
Premarital & Wedding
For clients who are embarking upon marriage, Jenny offers premarital counseling and officiating services. She recommends all couples to have 6 sessions to discover and discuss many issues that can make the transition into marriage a lot easier. Additionally Jenny is ordained by The Estuary, a non-denominational and non-sectarian church and can officiate weddings.
